February 2004

Spring is right around the corner!!! And what a blessing it will be this year!

Joey & John made it through the winter with only one mechanical breakdown (thank goodness for AAA, their brother-in-law Joe, who lent them his truck!) and only two club cancellations (they used the time to record in their studio--more on that later!).

Joey & John's online Guestbook provider is temporarily out of busines (we had the foresight to download the entries before they disappeared), but here are some recent entries:

BIG MIKE, Sunny 102 Syracuse: Great people, great talent, even a great website! I love you both! And thanks for all that you've done for me over the years...December 18, 2003.

Linda & Joe Barbaritano, New Hartford, NY: We saw Joey & John at the Turningstone Casino for the first time during the past two weeks and are so very happy to have found them. This is the first time in a very long time that we have been able to go out and enjoy the music of our era. They are excellent performers and made us feel like we were old friends and part of their performance. Keep up the good work…the world needs more music and laughter!

September 13, 2003. SUE MATSUKI, New York City: Your CD is easy to listen to production wise and charming as hell artistically! You cover all genres and, I have to say, I expected the Connie Francis stuff to kick butt but you just blew me away with "I Feel Like a Woman" and your jazzier side on "The Very Thought of You. WOW Joey…just GREAT! …You use your head voice and chest voice just like a "woman's" and John, BRAVO to you too! You two should do a series since you both have such a great range of voice AND can sing the phone book...do a Rock CD, A Jazz CD and a 50s...PLAY LOTTO! August 14, 2003.

ELLIE STIVERS, Syracuse, NY: I followed Joey & John to Alexandria Bay to Pine Tree Point where Joey & John pulled out some tunes they hadn't done in some time. Playing to the crowd, they did a fair share of classic rock. It was great! It brought back many memories…Joey absolutely "lights up" the moment the music starts and as more people come in, she glows even more. She is "the" consummate performer. And personally, Joey & John are the most wonderful, down-to-earth people you'd ever want to meet!

August 2003 Nanci & Bill, New Smyrna Beach, FL: Loved seeing you in Utica! Joey, you are absolutely and simply a scintillating & sensuous interpreter of songs; John, you have a natural feeling for the essence of the blues and project that to the audience without strain. Your arrangements are awesome! August 2003.
